Cleaning Team Update
Hey Cleaning Team!
Thank you as always for serving in this area — it's so important, but can easily go unnoticed. Thank you for continuing to be so reliable in this area. Pastor Aaron and Barb really appreciate it!
I'm reaching out this morning to go over a big (but temporary) update and to just reiterate some recent changes we've made to the cleaning list. Please reach out to Pastor Barb or Josh with any questions at all.
Temporary Schedule Update
Starting this weekend through Sunday, December 8, 2024, cleaning can only be completed on Saturdays after 6pm (before the Sunday you've been assigned to clean). The Christmas show rehearsals have begun(!) and therefore the church will be used fairly frequently on the days leading up to Sundays service. We'll want to make sure to get in after they're done with rehearsals to clean versus showing up beforehand.
We understand this is fairly limiting. We completely understand if you're unable to make that timeframe work in your schedule. Simply decline a cleaning request when it comes through if you're unable to make it work and we'll get it covered — absolutely no worries at all!
Updated Cleaning List Reminder
Lastly, I wanted to go over a few recent updates we've made to the cleaning list. You can find these on the print out in the cleaning cart, or on the website (private link provided in your reminder emails the week you've been assigned).
Mints: Please make sure we're restocking the mints in the three designated areas: coffee bar, men's bathroom, and women's bathroom.
Trash: Please double check the trash behind/underneath the coffee bar is taken out as needed.
Foyer: Please be sure to wipe down/clean horizontal surfaces in the foyer: coffee bar, bookshelf and benches next to main door, coffee table near the seating area, and side table in the mother's room.
Bathrooms: Just a reminder that the cleaning team should not be plugging in the air freshener plugs. To save on some expenses related to that, Pastor Aaron, Barb, Josh or Alex are plugging those in Sunday mornings and removing them after service.
Please let us know if there are any questions at all, and again, thank you for serving on the cleaning team!
